This collection contains global estimates of 4 terrestrial ecosystem models for 3 scenarios. Models are HRBM, IBIS, LPJ, and TEM. Scenarios are transient CO2, transient CO2 + climate, and transient CO2 + climate + crops. Data are 0.5 degree resolution, monthly, climate variables and model estimates of net primary productivity and heterotrophic respiration. Carbon fluxes due to clearing of the land for agriculture, biomass harvested from the land and fire disturbance are also available for the CO2 + climate + crops scenario. This collection provides a snapshot (year 1999-2000) of district-wise rice cropping areas for India. It is based on a compilation and analysis of 6 census-type datasets, and provides area estimates for a number different rice-based cropping systems (e.g., rice-rice-potato, rice-oilseed-fibrecrop, rice-wheat, rice-rice, rice-fallow, etc). For each of these, the area is split into two categories, irrigated and rainfed, referring to the rice crop water management only. The collection also includes estimates of monthly district-wise paddy-rice irrigation water use, based on area, soil properties, climatology data, and a water balance model. Data are table-based. EOS-WEBSTER has created MODIS products for the conterminous USA from the 8-day 500 m Surface Reflectance MOD09A1 bands 1-7. Data products have been spatially seamed together and reprojected into Geographic coordinates. The US 8-day Surf Refl Products (MOD09A1) includes two sets of holdings: US 8-day Surf Refl (MOD09A1) that contains Surface Reflectance Bands 1-7 and US 8-day Surf Refl Supp (MOD09A1) that contains supplemental information on band quality, angle, state flag, day of year and input tile code.
